Below are the questions we get asked the most...

Why book?

We advise booking as soon as you can because spaces are limited to preserve the educational quality of the event. Most events reach Fully Booked early. The session offers the rare chance to see a fully contextualised dissection through the lens of a cadaveric en-bloc dissection. Following the dissection of the 4 main organ cavities you will see, touch and feel real organ structures, tissues and systems as they appear in situ. Led by our award winning team, we will cover basic & complex  orientation, anatomy and the relationships between the organ systems as well as associated pathologies. This is a rare chance to handle real organs and to back-up your existing or developing A&P with something real and in person. We help bring abstract A&P concepts to life helping you understand the science behind some of the major diseases and clinical interventions. No human anatomy is featured, this is a simulation using porcine organs.

Sharpening your skills, building your confidence and enhancing your CV. A CPD certificate worth 2 Hours of CPD is included.

What shall I wear?

We suggest loose layered clothing, you will need to be bare below the elbows to do the dissections so plan your dress accordingly. Leave at home any expensive clothing and bring a bobble or headband if your hair is below the shoulders.

Do I need to bring anything?

No, wear loose comfortable clothing, your ticket price includes your  admission. To do the dissections you will need a Hands On Pack which we supply at the event.

Can I take photographs?

Yes photographs are permitted however live or recorded footage is not. Professional cameras are by prior consent only.

Is there parking?

Are their refreshments?

Yes refreshments are available, you can't bring your own refreshments into the event for hygiene reasons

Does it smell?

All our specimens are fresh, there is a distinct odour with respect to anatomical specimens. Some students over the years use vix under the nose if they are sensitive to smells. The digestive tract at the end of the experience does have its own unique scent.

Can I make notes?

Yes, you can make notes as you’re going along. We include diagrams and notes in the Hands On Pack.

How does the dissection work?

All of the dissections occur at designated stations set up around the room. The porcine specimen dissections are embedded into the content so expect to move around at the event.
